Continuity is an innovative and refreshing hybrid between a sliding puzzle and a platformer. The game might confuse you for the first few seconds of its beginning due to its intentional lack of instructions, but you should be able to pick it up very quickly.

Continuity is a pretty recent flash game combining the elements of sliding puzzle and platformer gameplay. The game is played in two parts: The player slides pieces of the level into place via a sliding puzzle system, then controls a character to traverse from the contents of one tile to an adjacent and matching tile.
Although the game features very little instructions, it is surprisingly easy to pick up. The levels of this game are well designed, but get repetitive after the initial freshness of the concept wears off. The increasing complexity and difficulty of the puzzles as the number of tiles increase does keep the game going for quite a while despite this fact.
The art of the game consists of a simple silhouette character with black tiles on a gray background. The monochrome presentation of the game actually hides its simplicity very well and adds a layer of sophistication to the look of the game.
Unfortunately, the music sounds like a constant electronic drone and was a pain to listen to for extended amounts of time. Some people may actually like this music depending on their taste, but it should be safe to say that in general, the music and sounds fail to keep up with the level of polish the rest of the game shines with.
