Nitrome continues to make beautiful, well-designed games, that handle some very interesting ideas with admirable confidence.

NeonPlat2 Review

Rating:

Jump, leap, bond over neon platforms (yes) and get the high score with you strange little neon man! Fun, fast, pick it up and put it down platform action. All in a week's work!

Gun Girl 2 Review

Rating:

Run and shoot, shoot and run...maybe jump. Actually, jump a lot because there are a lot of zombies out there and they have a thirst for blood. Grab your shotgun and head out the door for the zombie apocalypse, but don't expect too much.

Xoldiers Review

Rating:

A well known and respected independent developer, small soldiers, big explosions, strategy elements, and a quirky general to motivate you. Sounds like a recipe for success...and destruction!

Xoldiers is an oldy but a goodie from the developer of VVVVVV.

Island Hopping Review

Rating:

What if Canabalt was an FPS? Island Hopping is a great title that basically answers that question. Augmented with an exhilarating scoring system and unique visual minimalism, this is one excellent arcade game that just leaves you in search of that high score

Beautiful Escape: Dungeoneer Review

Rating:

I've never played a low res game that has gotten me this disturbed before. Dungeoneer is both a clever puzzle game and a psychological thriller paying homage to torture porn like Saw and Hostel that should be on everyone's must-play list for this summer.

Nimbus Sky Princess Review

Rating:

A breathtakingly beautiful shooter game that is also a blast to play. However, the gorgeous eye candy did take some liberties with many core shooter traditions that we have grown to love, making the experience of playing this title a bittersweet one.

Where We Remain Review

Rating:

Where We Remain is a queer adventure game that reminds me of the old Atari Adventure - Learning how to play is part of the game's charm. However, the adventure part ends once you learn the rules, and quickly degenerates into a score grubbing arcade title.

IdolCraft Review

Rating:

IdolCraft baffles me in almost every way. I'm not even sure if I played it right. I doubt I'm it's target audience, but I still find it hard to recommend to other human beings.

HeroCore Review

Rating:

HeroCore reminds you why you bother downloading and playing these bite-sized chunks of joy we call "indie" games. Sometimes the bite is bland and forgettable; other times, the bite is bitter; then there are times when the bite satisfies.
