Enough Plumbers Review

Rating:

Enough plumbers is fun, hard, challenging, interesting, pretty, imaginative and lots of other good words. It has a strong core mechanic and some excellent level design.

Fault Line Review

Rating:

Fault Line is short, beautiful and clever. An example of top notch artistic design, and an excellent way to waste thirty minutes.

They Need To Be Fed Review

Rating:

An excellent example of game design... in places. They Need To Be Fed becomes more frustrating as it continues, and it's minor faults become more devastating.

Island Hopping Review

Rating:

What if Canabalt was an FPS? Island Hopping is a great title that basically answers that question. Augmented with an exhilarating scoring system and unique visual minimalism, this is one excellent arcade game that just leaves you in search of that high score

Where We Remain Review

Rating:

Where We Remain is a queer adventure game that reminds me of the old Atari Adventure - Learning how to play is part of the game's charm. However, the adventure part ends once you learn the rules, and quickly degenerates into a score grubbing arcade title.

The Amazing Launchman Review

Rating:

Launchman is a simple game that twists one traditional aspect of platformers - you can't jump, but you can launch yourself in any direction. This very basic premise creates an entertaining title that just screams for more levels.

Jed Review

Rating:

Jumping robot babies.

If that phrase did not make you giddy, or at least provide a smirk, Jed may not be for you. It is, however, for everybody else.

Mission Extreme Review

Rating:

Mission Extreme tends the bounds between platformer and retro shooter quite well. It is a simple game, but sometimes simple is enough.

Island Escape Review

Rating:

Although I try to stay away from platformers for a while, I couldn't turn down the suggestion of a reader, so today we look at Island Escape, a Ludum Dare 17 entry that offers decent platforming action, but little innovation.

Drone Review

Rating:

Drone is an interesting blend of shooter, tower defense and real-time strategy, all packed into an elegant little package. It allows you to shoot enemies, build things to shoot enemies and upgrade to shoot enemies better, what's not to love?
