Remnants of Skystone Guest Review

Rating:

Remnants of Skystone is a very exciting and wonderful vision of a computer game. The game is a 3rd person adventure which involves you recovering the land that was once yours.

Starscape Review

Rating:

Starscape seamlessly melds overhead, space shoot-em-up action with the advancement of RPGs and addicting nature of city building games. Build your ship, build up your space station, research, mine and destroy lots of ornery aliens.

Word Pirate Review

Rating:

Literacy ahoy! Word Pirate takes fun word games, think Text Twist, and thrusts into straight into the middle of the pirate age of the Caribbean. Thoughtful, terribly fun. Another quality release from Moonpod Games.

Beautiful Escape: Dungeoneer Review

Rating:

I've never played a low res game that has gotten me this disturbed before. Dungeoneer is both a clever puzzle game and a psychological thriller paying homage to torture porn like Saw and Hostel that should be on everyone's must-play list for this summer.

IdolCraft Review

Rating:

IdolCraft baffles me in almost every way. I'm not even sure if I played it right. I doubt I'm it's target audience, but I still find it hard to recommend to other human beings.

The Amazing Launchman Review

Rating:

Launchman is a simple game that twists one traditional aspect of platformers - you can't jump, but you can launch yourself in any direction. This very basic premise creates an entertaining title that just screams for more levels.

Carlsev Saga: Episode I Review

Rating:

Carlsev Saga is a good JRPG, but lacks the essential hooks to make it spectacular. It has a great story and deep gameplay that is unfortunately hidden beneath a slow opening and confusing presentation of events, making it just fall short of JRPG greatness.

Flowearty Review

Rating:

Flowearty follows in the tradition of games like Crayon Physics, but instead of drawing shapes, you copy and paste existing geometry to reach the goal. However, the inadequate instructions betray this clever mechanic and make learning to play difficult.

Strange Adventures in Infinite Space Review

Rating:

If you've ever wanted to explore the vastness of space and do it all in one go, without a heavy interface or game system to learn, Strange Adventures in Infinite Space might just be for you.

The Linear RPG Review

Rating:

This game attempts to reduce RPGs to its simplest form, and actually manages to succeed. It is very rare that I'm giving such a small game a 4 star rating, but I really think the thought that went into its creation deserves that recognition.
